Pirate Bar

3 years ago, I posted our build of the Gazebo Boat Bar, and people seemed to like it. So I figure I will share, are latest mischief.

We are converting our far pavilion into a new raw bar. It is going to hide a new 8'x14' walk in fridge, and prep kitchen. We needed the walk in for more keg storage, and we need a prep area, so like most things it has now expanded in another bar. So I will post some photos and some videos as things progress please enjoy.

I saw your epic boat bar build and it was absolutely beautiful!
I have never been a fan of pirate themed bars but my experience has been mostly with pirate dive bars in Florida or South Carolina so it could just be me as most of them look like someone was murdered or got violently sick right before you walked in atmosphere to them.

If your conversion is as clean as your intial build, I could certainly become a Pirate Bar Patron!

How it looked before we started.

We are just calling it a pirate bar the actual look will be very similar to the Boat Bar. The boat bar has a very nautical look, almost piraty, but I guess their are different levels of pirate decor because we actually had this same conversation onsite about 48 hours ago.

Taking down the walls to rebuild. The last shot is saw cutting the concrete to run the sewer for floor drains, 3 bay sink, more bathrooms, etc.

You could also have a game show night.

Didn't get far today with the sewer, me and my brother should have thought a little harder when remembering how the original concrete was poured. We are chasing the haunch. So we are running the long way in 10" concrete with rebar, we expected 4" with wire mesh. This is super fun work :/ ha
We did make some choices on the fridge I think you all might be able to help with. We are doing 2x6 walls with spray foam and an extra 1" hard foam insulation (so insulate 2x6s), still shopping for a door.

The doors are cabanas, we have a few different kinds that we rent out by the season to beach club members.

Moving a head, got the plumbing in, Re poured the concrete (serious work out) , rough wiring in place, started to spruce the place up a bit. Interestingly, not sure if I mentioned this but, after pricing out all the materials, the cost of making a walk in was more than just buying it from the factory. Just the materials were more, not even factoring in my labor. So it should be here next week. It is 14' by 8 foot and 7'7" tall with the refrigerator on top of unit. So it will even save us from spraying on Wall in the kitchen since the out side will be steel, we won't have to place the epoxy wall stuff we use in kitchens. I forget what it is called but it would be perfect in a home brewery, Can even be pitched to a floor drain and has no seams floor to ceiling.

How do I rotate them?

damn wish I would have seen this before you back filled and concreted. Noticed you didn't have any vent lines coming off your floor drain. Wasn't sure if the two in the middle of the trench were for two separate sinks or what not.
