Beersmith is telling me that my actual efficiency is 62% and efficiency into boiler is 68% for my first AG. Which number is more important/more indicative of my process?

The 68% is the mash/sparge efficiency. This is important because you get this pre-boil, and you can make adjustments if necessary during the boil.
The 62% is your overall or brew house efficiency, and is based on the wort in the fermenter. Brew house efficiency will always be lower because you will lose efficiency to hop absorption, dead space, trub, wort left in kettle etc. The important thing is consistency.
