Point Defiance Brewery makes a great IPA. http://harmonbrewingco.com/ipa.html I would love to clone this beer. I have done many searches and came up empty. I even emailed the brewery and nothing. Has anyone tried to make this beer?

Here is what I do know:

70 IBUs

6.1% ABV

"Point Defiance IPA uses Columbus and Centennial hops for bitterness and flavor, plus ten pounds of Amarillo hops to dry hop"

"Maris Otter, NW 2 row, German and Belgium barleys make up the grainbill"

OG: 16

Any thoughts? I don't have BeerSmith or I would plug in some numbers.

I am trying to clone this too...starting with the hop schedule I am looking at:
1 oz Columbus @ 60
0.5 oz Centennial @ 60
1 oz Centennial @ 10
0.5 oz Centennial @ 0
2 oz Amarillo dry hop
This gets to ~70 IBU
Brewing today so I will update when I can taste it.

From tthe brewer:

Grain Pale 2R Marris Otter Cara Foam Special B

Hops Columbus Centennial Zythos Dry hop - Amarillo

150* mash temp 60 minute

60 minute boil

Ill post my 1st go at it before I hade the info. It was a good beer but not a clone.

My 1st round...

11lbs. 2 row
3 lbs. British pale ale
8oz. Belgian special B
8oz. Belgian Caravienne

1 oz. Columbus. 60 min
1oz. Centennial. 10 min
1oz. Columbus. 5 min
1oz. Centennial. 0 min

2oz. Cascade (could not get amarillo) dry hop 4 days after start of fermentation.

Color was dead on. It was a sweeter beer and more like a pale ale. I started with too much water. It was my 1 st Biab batch in my keggle and I got the water amount wrong.
