Nano Brewery

So New Hampshire recently passed a law allowing for people who brew 2,000 barrels or less of beer a year to obtain a license ($240) to self distribute their beer.

It seems like a pretty cool law and I was just wondering for the sake of wondering if anyone knows what is legal to sell... for example if someone wanted to sell a Boston Lager clone, could they? Or what about selling just a general recipe of an IPA? Or is that an infringement? Are these Nano Brewery laws intended for people who make their own recipes.

I would imagine you could not call your beer "Boston lager Clone", but you cannot copyright a recipe.
