Anyone ever had Hansa? One of my local stores started carrying it a few months ago. I tried it because I like most Dortmunders and a case is relatively inexpensive and has 24 brown pint size bottles (great to save for bottling). I've seen mediocre reviews on-line, but I must say I'm impressed... mostly because I started homebrewing (AG). It is lightly hopped and has a great malty flavor. And by malty, I mean the flavor tastes a lot like my mash smells during a brew session! I'm wondering if anyone else has tried this and what they think because this beer really exemplifies brewing in its flavor to me. I'm no Reinheitsgebot purist (except when brewing German lagers ;)), but this beer's flavor profile really makes me appreciate that Purity Law.
