Do you guys think an american pale would be a good candidate for some blueberrys? If so should I add real blueberrys or use the flovoring? If so at what times?

I made a blueberry ale last summer, added blueberries to secondary. It turned out well but the blueberry was very subtle. I added some blueberry flavoring, it was undrinkable. I say stick with real berries. Perhaps I used too much, but even a little would have made it taste to "fake" IMHO.

a real pale ale will have way too much hop aroma and flavor to go well with most fruit. a blonde, ordinary bitter, or any wheat beer goes with fruit better.
