My second brew, an extract + specialty grain milk porter, is delicious save for a very slight metallic twinge that is most noticeable in the head. About 12 people have sampled the beer, and other than myself only one faster could detect the off flavor.

The recipe is here:

Other than briefly sparging hotter than I planned and brewing in a bakery icing bucket that had a slight amount of icing residue in it - enough to float to the surface and prevent a thin white film by bottling time - I'm not aware of any issues in the process. Anyone have any suggestions?
