Half maris otter half munich. That's something I gotta try. And that brew looks delicious.

Thanks!

I forgot, 1 lb. corn sugar as well! Could easily omit that and create a non-imperial version with altered hop additions. I used light German Munich and this was brewed late September, so it's had quite a lot of time to mature, has appropriate dryness with an assertive malt presence that I prefer. I feel like it plays nice with the hops, personally.

Brown Ale!

i did a beer swap, and the receiver just posted a pic of the beers i sent him. I got a little jealous of one brew i sent him, so took a break from homebrew and picked one up. Its from a little local brewery. You cant get one, and probably never herd of it, ha ha! jk, it is good though

10 gal batch of my own Ale, split the batch and added 8 Lbs 9 oz of New Jersey wild blueberries I picked to 5 gals after Primary for 10 days. Came in at 8.7 % abv/ Both beers are very tasty. I froze the berries after picking, thawed them out, re froze them and then mashed them up in a food processor . I love the COLOR of the beer and the head!

Last pic is the other 5 gals without the blueberries added ummmm :mug:

atypical altbier from Gordon's book
for the first time i used isinglass and take a little bit more to carb it's three weeks in the bottle (if i remember well) and it isn't completely carbed yet.
it's crystal clear (excuse me for the photo but my phone isn't able to focus beer glasses)
still green and a little bit bitter, i'll give it another two weeks to finish to carb and i'll let it sit for a couple of month in the vinery before give it another try!

I'm not usually into Porters/Stouts and such, but damn this is good lol

Tastes like a mounds bar melted in beer

I thought this was for pics of our HB beers. I guess I was wrong.

Not complaining, BTW.

My take on BMs Centennial Blonde:

It seems I am getting a little chill haze, because the beer as it sits in the bottle at room temperature is really clear, like professionally-filtered clear. Seriously, it looks like water in the bottle. Oh well, at least it tastes really good!!!

My Centennial Blonde does the exact same thing!!

Here's a pic of my blonde, poured at room temp:

Notice that you can read the label through it.
