Just curious what you are brewing this weekend. I'm giving an oatmeal stout a try this weekend. This will be my first try at an oatmeal stout, and I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

Have a great weekend and happy brewing!:mug:

I am brewing right now! I am doing a quick extract recipe I found on the BYO website. No time to do a PM, so I thought I would just throw an extract IPA into the mix.

I'm going to make a Blonde and I plan to add peaches to the secondary. Should be interesting. :)

Did my first AG last weekend, an amber ale, and doing my second one this weekend. Gonna try a Kilkenny clone. I plan on another next weekend and from all the testimonies, I think I may give EdWort a nod and do his Haus Ale.

I've just recently made it my mission in life to duplicate the Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale. It may take a while for me to develop the skills and taste to do it, but do it I will! Oh, yes, I will!

brewin the famed HobGoblin tomorrow again. not changing anything from last time either.

10 gallons of Back To Basics Ale. 15 +/- pounds of 2-Row. Another 1.5 pound mix of flaked wheat, Honey Malt and Crystal 120 (all I can find around the brewhsop).

Some perle for 60, some cascade for 40 and done.

Should come in around 4% and be golden and crystal clear in 2 weeks.

Brewing another pilsner but adding a little light crystal to add a little more color.

DId an APA Wednesday, got a simple stout into the fermenter today, doing creamed honey red ale tommorow followed with a belgian dark strong ale on Sunday FTW!

You're not wasting any time getting back in the saddle, are you, seefresh?

First AG attempt starting soon (after the coffee wakes me up.) Belgian Wit recipe from Radical Brewing, but with torrified wheat instead of raw wheat, so that's one less step to make it a little more simple.

I was going to, but I think I'll sit around and watch Free Russian Porn on a Jeep instead.:D

Brewing a porter on Sunday with my brother, our 2nd all-grain.

Not brewing this weekend, too much on the honey do list, but I will be racking a brew to secondary and trying to find some time to finish building my new MLT and sparge arm.

Oh, and I will be drinking heavily :D

I'm walking a buddy through an AG on my system today. I haven't been able to decide between a nut brown and an IPA so I may let him pick. I also have an ordinary bitter and oatmeal stout to rack to secondary. Going to be a busy day but at least I get a helper monkey to do the cleaning. :)

Not this weekend, but next weekend I will be hitting it hard. With any luck I'll knockout 2, maybe 3 brews.

Yep, doing a Magic Hat #9 AG clone for the wife. Doing the apricot extract instead of puree in the secondary. Seems a bit easier. :)

Just finished cleaning up the brew shop. College football. A box of Cheese-its. The five tapper at arm's length and raining like a b!tch outside.

Brewed up 10 gallons of my Back to Basics Ale that looks a little more amber than I thought. Came in at 1.038 and pitched about a half gallon of -05 slurry I had from last weeks brew. My prediction is a 1.006 finishing gravity for a nice 4.0 session.

Man I love brewing indoors. :rockin:

I finished my 10 gallons of my revised Bavarian Hefeweizen. Two bucket fermenters are in the freezer in the garage with the themocoupler taped to to the side of the bucket and the set point on the controller set to 68 degrees.

It was a good brew day. 20# of malt, 1 hop addition and my new chiller system performed flawlessly.

Here's to good beer! :mug:

Cheers to all who brewed today. I love this time of year. College football and brewing beer in lower temps, well getting there for Phoenix. The football makes brew day go by faster.
10 gallons of dark pilsner in ther fermenter.

I plan to be brewing my spiced "Holy Christ it is Christmas' ale tomorrow, but as it is 2:00 am, and I need to get flame to my kettle at 9:30 am to ensure that I can be at GM Place by 5:00 pm to watch game 8 of the Russia-Canada Super series, who knows.

For those not in the know, this is a hockey tournament showcasing the best junior hockey players of each country playing in an 8 game series in honour of the legendary series of 1972 between Canada and Russia.
