Trying not to aerate

I know when you transfer from the fermenter to the bottling bucket, you try not to aerate the beer. I didn't get a lid with my bucket so should I cover the top of the bucket with something( plastic wrap) while I'm syphoning into it.?
 
The bigger point here is not splashing around. Unless you can flush out the oxygen with CO2, there really isn't a point of having a lid on the bucket. A good idea is to put your priming solution in first, and then put your tube under that, so that it doesn't splash as much.
 
Just stick the output end of the hose down at the bottom of the bottling bucket when you transfer. Don't worry about covering the bottling bucket. I don't have a lid for mine, either.
