Hey there!

This is my second attempt at brew craft, today i put a brew on, coopers real ale malt extract, 1kg brewing sugar, and the yeast that the malt came with, 23litres of water, steady at 22C

A bit worried though, the krausen looks like its going to push its way up through the airlock, is this a bad thing? should i remove the airlock(or lid?) completely?

Any advice much appreciated!

do that and put the other end of the tube in a BIG JUG of water...the krausen will go out the tube.

In case you can't tell from fat x sub, here's mine...(I might have sunstroke from having just come back from umpiring a vintage base ball game in a dark victorian suit, but his makes me a little dizzy when I tilt my head :D)
