I want to brew two lagers for a wedding on Jan 16, 2010. Its Mexican food and would like to brew a light and a dark lager for the celebration. I think my window is closing for a true lager and may have to go with a hybrid of some type. Not experienced enough yet for AG, put partial grain/extract I can do. The bride likes Corona and the groom likes Bohemia. I am open for recipe suggestions.

Light lagers like the ones you intend on brewing don't take forever to lager. The real difference in the final taste of a longer lagering peroid is pretty subtile sometimes.

You should have plenty of time to make one.

I would think so. Pitch a huge starter into wort at fermentation temps and let it go fo a couple of weeks. Raise the temp 10f and let it finish.
You can carbonate and lager at the same time to shorten the wait.
