I'm curious - eventually I would love to have a keg fridge with the taps on it. I'd also like to eventually make lagers.

Do any of you use the same fridge for both? the keg fridges look like they are designed to fit 4 kegs, so I couldn't fit a carboy and a keg in there at the same time...

is it possible to find a carboy that is the same size/shape as one of those kegs?

Thanks!

Sure, simply use a keg to lager the beer. don't carb it, just let it lager as you would when it is in a carboy. The beer will never know the difference.

Yes, I use the same fridge for chilling kegs and for lagering. My fridge (conceivably) holds as many as 30 kegs with room for a dozen or so carboys. But I at most have 6 kegs full kegs and 2 or 3 carboys at any given time.
