I forgot to add (hiccup) my 2 1/2 lbs of sugar to my 11.00 Gallon Batch of Imperial IPA. I have just pitched my yeast, and would like to know if there is any way I can add it to the Primary...

1.25 pounds of sugar added to each carboy with 1ish quarts of water per. Boiled, then simmered for 10 minutes, then cooled to about 70is degrees prior t pitching to each carboy.

Thank You Mah Brothers for the Great knowledge!!! After all the seeking for the Simcoe Hops, I DID NOT Want my Hop Hammer Imperial IPA to go to Moot. This place Rocks!!!:rockin:

De-aerating is not necessary if you just pitched the yeast - fermentation has not started yet. If you wait a day or two to add the sugar, then yes. Either way it should be a small amount of water so I doubt it really matters anyway, just make sure it's sanitized.
