Looking for a recipe for an "abbey ale" which could mean all sorts of things! Looking for 5.5%-6.5% ABV. Not too hoppy but the typical spicey/sweet taste of a Belgian. Light or dark color, doesn't matter. Belgian yeast, candi sugar, etc.

Kind of a weak dubbel I guess. Extract with specialty grains if possible but I can convert all grain if need be.

These guys don't give the recipe for their kits but they have a couple that might be what you're looking for.

I've found that when shops put together their own recipe kits it is the best value. I steer away from kits like brewer's best but I like the "house recipe" kits. Not knowing the recipe makes me wary but I like their selection and descriptions. They don't have AG kits anyway, so I order from Northern Brewer usually:
