Looking for some help buying some beer line. I've been searching for the past few days. I'm going to buy at least 60' of line (two 10' kegerator runs, three 10' picnic tap runs and re-doing my buddy's kegerator with a 10' run) and don't want to break the bank.

Saw the Bevlex, but I need tight coils in my kegerator and would like more resistance not less. Tygon Silver is too expensive at $2/foot. Tygon B-44-4X and B-44-3 look decent, but I can't tell the difference between them at $0.97 a foot and regular taste and odor free bev line at $0.55 a foot.

Saw this older thread and he references crappy MoreBeer line. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f35/beer-line-tests-solution-plastic-taste-60380/

Now, MoreBeer says they used to sell cheaper stuff but now sell premium beverage tubing: http://morebeer.com/view_product/16367/102240/Beer_Tubing_3_16"_ID_Roll_of_100 At $45 per 100ft, that's super cheap.

What do I do? Too many choices and I can't tell the difference.

Any help? Would like to make this next weekend's project, so I'd like to order some beer line soon.

My 6 faucet tower came with Bevlex 200 tubing, and after almost a year of use nobody has ever noted any off flavors from the beer, even on the rare occasion of drawing from a faucet that hadn't been pulled in a few days.

You can find 3/16" ID/7/16" OD Bevlex 200 tubing for ~ 60 cents per foot. Imo that's a fairly inexpensive solution to the "vinyl blues"...

Cheers!
