Just wanted to post a couple things coming up in the next couple months in Oklahoma.

A new big thing happening is Tulsa Craft Beer Week. This will be its first year.
The dates are April 15th - 20th

Here is a short description from their facebook page on what will be happening:
Tulsa Craft Beer Week is a week long celebration of the ever growing Craft Beer culture in Tulsa and in the state of Oklahoma! It will be held from April 15th-20th, and will include over 20 events ranging from beer dinners, pint nights, special firkins, outdoor festivals, and more! Participating breweries, restaurants, bars, and craft beer stores will be announced very soon.

Here you can find more information:

Also the 3rd annual Oklahoma Craft Beer Festival in OKC - Bricktown.
The date has been set for May 18th but not much more information has been posted yet.
More info should be posted on the tapwerks website soon.

I will try to post more information as I find out.
The Tulsa Beer Week posts are happening all the time on their facebook page.

All the slots are filled for Roughtail Brewing Company's Wort Give-away.

On Sunday, May 19 they are going to brew a very basic pale ale (1.050 OG and 35 IBUs) with no flavor or aroma hops or other flavors. The first 40 homebrewers to sign up will have the opportunity to go home with 5 gallons of this fresh wort to use as your own personal canvas by adding your own hops, yeast, fruits, spices, etc. The only limitation is your own creativity! This opportunity will go fast, so sign up today if you're interested.

The Bricktown Craft Beer fest was way more crowded this year than last year. Good because the scene is growing! Bad because I have to elbow in to get mah sample of beer!

Sounds like some really great things happening out there! I'm from Boston, Mass. and always enjoy checking out different Massachusetts sports venues that offer similar events. There are a lot of different beer fests out this way if you ever get the chance to make the trip like Harpoon Fest located in the city! Enjoy!
