I just moved to germany and there are a bunch of wild hops growing eight near my place. Just harvested a bunch yesterday. Strong citrus and grass notes with a hint of mint as well as a musky blackberry scent. They're growing near an old garden community so I suspect they may be great strains for authentic german-style kolsch or pilsner. There's more here than I can use myself so send me a message if you're interested and I can send you some.

Can send pics via email: luke (dot) giveen (at) gmail

that's a very generous offer! but be aware that you won't be allowed to send them to the US, or just about any country outside of the EU. you would need an agricultural import permit, which isn't worth obtaining for a pound of hops. well, you could send them but they'd likely be stopped by US customs.
