Is it possible to use Beer Brite (solution with hot water) to sterilize Corny's?

Andy

Beer Brite works as well as anything else I've used to sterilize other items, so it should work for kegs. The rub would be that you really have to rinse well with warm or hot water to get it off, so you would want to run hot water through a cobra tap or similar to get the solution out of the keg, diptubes, and poppet-area.

What is beer brite made of? You don't want to use anything chlorine based on stainless.

Worry not about letting chlorine get contact with stainless--- just don't leave the solution in the keg. Chlorine can etch stainless but at the dilute levels that are used for sanitation it takes a pretty long time.
