Thought I'd post what I'm brewing tomorrow. My second version of a dusseldorf altbier.

Calories: 172.13 per 12.0 fl oz

Original Gravity: 1.052 (1.046 - 1.054)

Color: 14.2 (13.0 - 17.0)

Alcohol: 5.09% (4.5% - 5.2%)

Bitterness: 38.44 (35.0 - 50.0)

7 lbs Pilsner Malt
1.5 lbs Munich Malt
1.5 lbs Vienna Malt
.5 lbs Belgian Caramunich 47L
2 oz Carafa Special® TYPE II
2 oz Tettnanger (3.5%) - added during boil, boiled 60 min
1 oz Spalt Spalter (2.5%) - added during boil, boiled 30 min
1 tsp Irish Moss - added during boil, boiled 15 min
1 ea WYeast 1007 German Ale

The first one I made was a bit too sweet with not enough bitterness. I backed off on the munich malt and plan to up the hops. Still think I need to pick up another oz of hops cause those AA%'s are so low. Any suggestions on the malt bill or on whether I should bitter or flavor with the Tett or Spalt? Thanks
