Starting to work up my first mead receipe and wanted to see if there was anything I needed to do different when changing the batch size. I can't shine there is except for adjusting the amount of yeast that needs pitched. But just wanted to check.

Thanks inadvance,

Tim

In regards to honey - no, nothing special.
In regards to fruit - probably not.
In regards to spices - ABSOLUTELY. However, there's no real math that will always cover this. Sometimes 3 sticks of cinnamon is enough, sometimes it's just WAY too much.

Bad answer, I know.

If you'll list your proposed recipe, you'll be able to get better answers on how to scale it.
