the team was (relatively) recently in SF for Fleet week, and i was fortunate enough to have a room on the waterfront, at the cannery.
right next door to the hotel was a little bar called "Jack's at the Cannery"
180 beers on tap. good 'uns as well. and the beer slinger, Paul, was a stand up cat with a working knowledge of every single one.
i'd just walk in there, every night for the rest of my trip, and say "Paul, i'm feeling hoppy (or malty, sweet and light, wheaty, you get it). surprise me"
prices are what you'd expect from waterfront san francisco, but a military discount goes a long way!
