I'll be dry hopping in my secondary tomorrow and am considering whether I should toss my hop additions in together, or do it in 2 stages? I read an interview with Stone head brewer Mitch Steele and he mentioned multi-stage dry hopping for "a really intense fresh hop character", but can anyone expand on what the noticeable differences are? Any personal experience with multi-stage dry hopping would be awesome and appreciated. I'm planning on using Cascade and Glacier pellets, 1 oz. of each. Thanks!
