I recently brewed Yuri's thunderstruck pumpkin ale and I'm ready to ad the spice tea. How does one make a tea with the spices? Just boil a cup of water with the spices for a while and then ad it?

Also, because I have less than 5 gallons of beer I am trying to figure out how much sugar I'm going to need for bottling time. Is there a rule of thumb as far as amount of table sugar per gallon of beer?

Thanks!
