i have racked my cider kit off today how long can it be left b4 i have to bottle it as very busy

as long as your sanitation is good you can leave that cider in the secondary for a while... how long are you talking about??? It should be fine for a couple weeks...

With a carboy properly airlocked and topped up, you can wait about 3 years before bottling if you want to. Or longer. There is no advantage to bottling except that it's easier to drink out of a single bottle than a carboy. :D
