I would like to make a batch of mead, but my equipment (very limited) is all plastic.
Can I make mead in an all plactic environment?

It is perfectly fine to conduct primary fermentation in a plastic bucket. For secondary fermentation or extended aging, since mead can be susceptible to oxidation, you might want to use either a special plastic carboy designed for the purpose (check out Better Bottles), or use a glass carboy. But for primary ferments, food grade plastic containers are fine.

Just be careful not to scratch them up, making sanitizing difficult
