Follow the Sun...

So yesterday my first year Hallertau started getting it's little "race for the sun tip" as I like to call it. You know, when it stops getting bushier (for now) and the tops starts growing up finally? Well, it's been raining all day and overcast and I noticed when I came home how the tip was still pointing towards the East. A couple hours later the rain stopped and the sun finally peeked out and what do ya know...he did a complete 180 and is now pointing to the West. Just like that! In a matter of minutes!

These are some interesting lil buggers, I tells ya!

Almost as cool as sunflowers.. Those things are mazing..

yeah sunflowers are cool...they bring the doves which you can shoot by the dozen
hops bring beer which you can drink by the dozen

So all I need are some sunflowers and I got a beer drinkin' dove shootin' good time just waitin!
