So I bottled my first cider today. I had used a standard recipe, with 3 gallons of cider/apple juice, brown sugar, regular sugar and a few spices.

My initial gravity reading was 1.078. My final gravity reading today was 1.002.

Is it me, or does that seem pretty low for a final gravity reading?

I used 4 Gallons Old Orchard Apple juice and 1 gallon cherry juice, with 1 lbs brown sugar and 1 lbs powder sugar my O.G. was 1.070 and ended at .998 I used to packs pasteur champagne yeast for the dryness. so It sounds normal.
