i have a grip of awesome champagne bottles that accept large crown caps and i want to put sparkling mead in them. where can i get these caps? is a certain cap required to cap with larger caps?

Look for 29mm crown caps. You'll need a special capper or a new bell for your existing capper to use them.

If you have a wing capper, the little metal pieces that go around the cap edge are reversible. Pull em out with needle nose pliers to reverse them.
