Just curious. I use a 3/8th tube for blow off into a gallon jug filled half way with sterile water. Is the krauzen blow off in the jug worth keeping for anything? Yeast culture? Feeding to the dog? Fertilizer? Hate to keep throwing it out if there's any use for it.
Beers y'all,
Ken

your really frugal if your thinking of trying to reuse blowoff water, but I commend you. Yeast is a good source of nitrogen maybe you could water your plants with it and there is dissolved CO2 which is also good for plant respiration.

Yeah, I thought that maybe it was a bit of a stretch. Maybe I'll put it in the Hummingbird feeders and watch the little buggers fly upside down!
