Hey, I'm in need of some quick advice. Tonight is bottling night, and everything was going as planed. Bottles were ready, priming sugar had been added, etc. It just came time to bottle, and I have searched high and low but cannot find the bottle filler attachment. (The spring loaded attachment that hooks up to the auto siphon, allowing for the easy start and stop of flow for filling the bottles). I was wondering whether I should delay bottling a day until I get a new filler, adding more sugar as necessary, or whether I should just try my luck at bottling with no filer attachment.

Maybe just some tubing that will reach the bottom of the bottle and a clamp..??

Dont delay your bottle filling for too long or your yeast will begin to ferment the priming sugar and you will lose carbonation the longer you wait. You might try thist:
1. Get some small diameter tubing that can easily be pinched with one hand
2. Pinch one end as you open your bottle spigot
3. Use your other hand to drop the tube into the bottle
4. Release pinched tubing slowly to fill bottle
5. Repeat

That might work and it lets you easily coordinate between hands.
