Calling all Homebrewers, Judges and Stewards,
Its that time of year againtime to get your best recipes out and start thinking about your award-winning creation for the 16th Annual World Cup of Beer Homebrew Competition. The Bay Area Mashers are proud to continue our tradition of running one of the best competitions in Northern California, and wed love to see your entry for the chance to win great prizes, awards and of course, bragging rights. The competetition is open to everyone, regardless of location. Last year we had 440 entries with submissions from across the US!
After the Final judging on April 3rd, well host the Awards Ceremony and party at the Trumer Brauerei in Berkeley, CA, where entrants and their guests are welcome to enjoy great beer, food, music, fun and a raffle with great prizes.
World Cup16 will be open to all styles and sub-styles of beer, mead, and cider, in BJCP categories 1 through 28.
The 2010 World Cup of Beer is a regional qualifying event for the Masters Championship of Amateur Brewing (MCAB), and is sanctioned by the AHA and BJCP.
Entry window opens Friday, February 19
Entry Deadline: Saturday, March 13, 2010
Prelim Judging: March 27
Final Judging/Awards: April 3
