Has anyone ordered or read The Ultimate Almanac of World Beer Recipes

What did you think of it?

Is it worth ordering/reading?

The cost is US $129 + $20 shipping + your bank/credit union international money wire fee which is $50 for my credit union.

So you're looking at a fairly expensive book ~ US $200 total.

Just wondering if it's worth it.

I would think with sites like this one and others like it would make that unnecessary.
$200.00 for 101 recipes, nah.

Go to Barnes and Noble, They have alot of recipe books in the cooking section. Thats were I got my "Homebrewing for Dummies" book.

I've seen a copy of it. The recipes were laughably bad. Because it's published in conjunction with Weyermann all the recipes use their malt, even styles were it's just not right.

It's not even a properly bound book, just a folder with looseleaf pages.

I went through the book with Jason Oliver (brewer at Devil's Backbone) and we were in fits of laughter at just how awful the history sections were.
