Ok, I built myself a plastic conical, I dumped some yeast, and have no idea what to do with it. I know how to wash yeast from a carboy or bucket, but this stuff is much thicker, and I believe free of trub. So do I just cap it and throw it in the fridge?

Try to get the yeast from the middle. Figure out how much there is, dump the bottom third, save the next third for future use, dump the top third. Their is a brew pub in my hometown that has bee using this technique to keep the same yeast in service for 18 years with no mutation. Industry standard is to only keep yeast for about six generations. That is what i do at home since i can not test it genetically.
