Anyone know approx how may limes it will takes to produce 2oz of lime zest? 6-8? Brewing a homemade recipe and want to add 2oz of fresh lime zest at end of the boil.

Looks like a lime will produce 3/4 tbsp. Not sure what the density is though. If you figure it out let us know.

Bottled today and the zest if 7 limes seems about right. Will know more after carbonation.

It was good. It wouldnt hurt to add more. Flavor died out in the last couple of beers.
