I have spent hours looking for a good digital thermometer and ruling out the junk. I can't find any reviews on what looks like a good series: http://www.labdepotinc.com/Product_Details~id~830~pid~60141.aspx
The 4352 has an 8 inch probe and an accuracy of +/-0.2*C(!) and the 4354 has an 11 inch probe(!) and an accuracy of +/-0.5*C. Has anyone used one of these? I can't find any mention of them here. I really like the low variance, so for $50 it seems worth it. I also can't decide what is more important, longer probe or higher accuracy?
I have ruled it down to either one of those or the Ultra version of the "Lollipop" style with a +/-0.4*C accuracy. I looked at CDN, Taylor, Thermoworks, Coleparmer, and others, and these seem to be the best balance of cost and quality.
Thoughts?
