I'm going to be brewing up a pale ale tomorrow, and I have some hops that have been sitting in the freezer since the summer. Now, they weren't vaccuum sealed. I just stapled the orginal bag closed and put them all in a freezer bag. Do you think that they will still work as bittering hops? Someone recently posted that the bittering properties can fade over time if not properly stored. Should I ditch the hops or will they be okay for a 60 minute addition. (All my flavoring and aroma hops are fresh home grown hops).

Thanks. :mug:

Cool. Should I adjust my projected IBU's down a bit? Or, will it not have that much effect?
