I have tried a few brews from the Marin Brewing Co. and I just picked up a 22 oz. of their Albion Amber Ale. Here's a mini review:

Pours a dark carmel color, almost brown with an off-white head. Aroma has some hops present with some citrus. Flavor is sweet and malty, with a slightly acidic, citrusy hop flavor cutting through, followed by a hint of bitterness.

It's not what I was expecting. The flavor is reminiscent of sweetened lemon iced tea. It's not bad, just not what I was hoping for. With it raining outside, I was maybe imagining something less hoppy. Maybe I should have opened a smoked porter! This would probably be a good summer evening, sitting on the porch, beer. Has anyone else tried this?
