POT size

I have a question.

Should I use a 30 qt pot for brewing.

Currently I do extract with grain (I think)

The first 2 batches I did were over a friends and he had a 3 gal pot.
After we brewed we added water to the ale pale to equal 5 gal like the direction in the clone brews book said.

Would it be better to get a 30 qt pot (I found a site that has them on sale for 60 bucks shipped)

What would I gain

I just bought a Turkey fryer and want to brew this weekend if possible.

Many people use 30qt. pots very successfully. You just have to watch closely for boilovers if you are doing full boils or use some foam control drops. Good luck!
