I have a Sper Scientific ATC pH Pen
It says to store with a few drops of "potassium chloride" AKA- KCL
Is the Hanna storage solution, potassium chloride.
Is all potassium chloride the same.
I see potassium chloride on
eBay by the pound is that it.
If so how do I mix.??

Don't over-complicate it. Trying to mix your own storage solution isn't worth it IMO. Just buy a bottle of prepared pH meter storage solution and in the meantime you can use distilled water.

KCl can be found in most so-called salt substitutes at the grocery store. There are a few that add other things too, but as long as they are predominately KCl you should be fine. Most probes need 3M KCl doing the math means you'd need about 225 g for 1 liter or 22.5 g for 100 mL. Use distilled water or RO water and keep it in a sealed container when not in use.
