I've searched, but I can't find any information.

Is there torque specifications for ball lock inlet/outlet post on the Pepsi Corny kegs?

I'm reconditioning six kegs for obvious reasons and want to be sure I don't over-torque the post down and ruin the o-rings.

Thanks,
Dan.

Anyone else have any opinions on this? I'm about to tear down all 12 of my kegs and it would be great to have a torque spec to tighten to. Thanks everyone!!

They are usually on pretty tight. I just tighten them until it stops then give them a little bump just to be sure.

I do "Popeye" tight.

Hi

I very much doubt if they were ever put on with a torque wrench. If they were, you would need the number for your post / your o-ring material / your keg. There are so may combo's that the number that was "right" for one is going to be "wrong" for the next one.
