I'm thinking about brewing a pecan porter this weekend. I really like the one I've had from 512 Brewing.

What would be the best way to add Pecans to the beer?

I've done it a few times with adding the pecan meat into the mash after I had roasted them 3 or 4 times for 15 minutes at 325 dgrees. There are a number of discussions about this if you search for Southern Magnolia Pecan. I believe they use the shells which I have not tried yet.
