So I just got my CO2 tank filled up this morning. I hooked up my micromatic regulator just to test it out before fitting lines, etc etc. At any rate, both shut off valves on the unit leak.. A LOT! I don't think this is normal is it?

I figured it out... they use 5/16ths barbed fitting that have a special gasket seat. I replaced them with 1/4" barbs to match my pin lock taps. I think i'm gonna just take those valves completely off. More of a PITFA than anything.

I went the cheapy route from Micromatic and mine has yet to fail me in any way.

I think mine has the same shut offs and Y block as yours. Mine work like champs and are very handy to have. If yours leak, contact Micromatic and they will replace them.
