Not too much of a mess.

After I finished, i had about 2 gallons of cider. I added a half a pound of brown sugar. The O.G. was right around 1.056. I tossed in a couple of campden tablets and will pitch the yeast in the morning. :mug:

About 8 pounds of pears and 12 pounds of apples. The apples were on sale at Hannafords and the pears i got for free from the pear tree in my parents front yard. The pears dont really get big enough to eat most of the time. Its probably more cost effective to just buy cider, but I figured I would do it for the experience.
