Portable Homebrew Dispensing Kit - Draft Beer Home Brew

Has anyone used one of these ? Looks like it wld be alot easier than slogging along a 20# tank !

But - If I were taking a Corny to a party - I know it will be finished probably at the end of the shindig, so why not use a regular hand pump and a cobra tap ?

Can u get hand pumps for a corny ?

The charger thing is normally about $15 and if you already have disconnect, just add a picnic faucet. IOW, I think $65 is a little saucy for what you get.

I'd think you could make one easy enough cut off the end of a bicycle pump hose and attach a gas ball lock connector to the hose with a c-clamp and "viola"

For the money they are asking I'd buy a 2.5 or 5 lb tank for parties before I drop $78 on that setup.

And like you said just use your cobra/picnic tap

Stick with the picnic tap, it's way cheaper, and you can serve at a higher pressure. I had one of those direct faucets and mostly got foamy beer. I'm all for the co2 ish though. I use em with my three gallons.

Yup, that's way expensive. Stick with a picnic/cobra tap and some beer line to give you good (nonfoamy) pours. As for the CO2 pusher, (which is like 15-20 bucks, so don't buy that ebay ish!), that works fine, but goes through about 3+ cartridges to dispense a keg. If you know you're gonna drink it that night, yes, there are corny hand pumps, and yes you don't have to worry about oxidation if you are drinking it all then.

1 keg
2 connectors
1 faucet tip
1 c02 dispenser
2 co2 mini tanks and
a spanner wrench


Adding it all up, this looks like a decent deal. (purchased from their website the shipping is WAY less)



So what would be keeping me from getting this kit?

Check again...it doesn't look like it includes the corny keg.
