i was wondering if i could use half of the can of a 5 gallon extract to make a 2 gallon batch in my mr beer. Then take the other half of the extract and freez it for use later.
I used a thomas coopers sparkling ale and added half the can. Look OK and smelled ok. For the first test batch i did not save the remainder of the can. I will see how this batch turns out and go from there. Also the guy at my local store said it would not hurt if i added up to three quaters of the can to make the ale a little stronger and add more flavor.
