Crystal 10 sub.....Carahell?

Well, I brewed BM's Centennial Blonde today (just finished about an hour ago) but couldn't get any C10 localy. I went to both of the brew shops in town (both SUCK by the way) with no luck. I grabbed the next thing that was the same Lovibond rating......carahell.

So, was it a good idea? What would you have done? It was only .5lb so not a HUGE amount...

Here's some descriptions:

Weyermann CaraHell. 11° L. Imparts a fuller, rounder flavor and deep color to pale ale, Oktoberfest, Maibock, and hefeweizen.

Crystal 10L will create a golden color and has a candy-like mild caramel sweetness.

I think that'll be fine. Might be a little more malty as opposed to some sweetness, but hell, it could be even better.

You may miss some of the sweetness imparted by the crystal. That's about it.

i've substituted carahell myself with no significant differences. actually with that centennial blonde!
