Hi all,

My wife works for a local university and has a co-worker who works in sorghum research. Why is this relevant? Well he heard that I brew beer and wants to give (GIVE!) me grain so that I can brew with it.

Now for my dillema: how on earth do I brew with raw sorghum? Can I just mill the grain and go to town?

Anyone have experience with this?

I would think it depends on what you want out of it. If you just want it in your brew then you will have to do a cereal mash. If you want a pure sorghum beer then you wil have to malt it. Start by poking around the Gluten Free section of HBT and you'll get pleanty of info.
