Just got some yeast nutrient I ordered off of northern brewer. I thought I'd read somewhere that yeast nutrient had yeast husks but reading the label on the stuff I got it says it contains food grade urea and something chemical sounding like ammonium phosphate (that could be way wrong but something like that). Is this stuff I got truly nutrient or is it energizer? What's the difference and what applications would they be used for? I plan on continuously making apfelwein and IPA and maybe another random type of beer once in a while for a little variety. Thanks!
