Hey all,
I have a silly question but it's kind of bugging me. I forgot to take a O.G. reading before I pitched my yeast. So I decided to do it when I remembered. Will it effect my reading in anyway? The yeast was pitched from a 1 liter starter if that makes a difference.

As soon as I pitched the yeast it hit me so I did it right away. Maybe 5 min or so.

Pitching a 1 liter starter into a 5g batch will lower the gravity by 1 - 2 points (depending on the gravity of the starter).
